Meet the Persistent Preacher

Hello and welcome to my blog! A little about me: I am 49, married to a terrific guy (who makes an even more terrific minister’s spouse), mother to an unbelievably fantastic 7 year old and minister at a loving, welcoming and vivacious church.

I started this blog so I could have a place to put down some thoughts that don’t make it into regular Sunday sermons.  Sundays are about God’s word for the people of God.  This blog is about how God’s word affects me on a personal level so if menopause, parenting, gardening, sea glass hunting, or watching Into The Badlands is interesting to you then enter as you dare!  Here you will find links to all kinds of things that will likely make you ask, “THIS is a preacher???”  Yup!  God calls all kinds.

I also want this to be a place where anyone can share their thoughts on womanhood, personhood and God so I will inviting guest bloggers as often as possible.  If you would like to submit a post we would be happy to have you!
